Tyler Patten

Tyler brings a wealth of experience to Forte Strong, with a career in the medical field that began in 2009. Over the years, he has worked as a CNA, MA, RN, and now serves as a dedicated Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Holding bachelor’s degrees in both Psychology and Nursing, he went on to earn a master’s degree in Nursing with a focus on Psychiatric and Mental Health from Walden University. His diverse background includes working as a nurse in dialysis centers, home health, and an inpatient psychiatric unit. Currently, he provides expert psychiatric care at Forte Strong, specializing in psychotropic medication management and holistic mental health approaches.

Passionate about mental health, he finds deep fulfillment in helping individuals navigate their journey to wellness. With personal and professional experiences in mental health challenges, he recognizes the importance of a trusting, supportive relationship between provider and patient. His goal is to foster a warm, welcoming environment where patients feel valued, heard, and empowered.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife and five children exploring the outdoors. Whether it’s camping, rock climbing, backpacking, scuba diving, hiking, or cheering his kids on from the sideline he cherishes opportunities to create lasting memories with family and friends
