Executive Assistant, Support Team
Addie has spent nearly a decade in mental health, holding a Psychology degree and certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board. She’s passionate about building real-world systems that prepare young men to trust themselves and live independently.
Administrative Assistant, Support Team
A southern Utah native who earned her Associate’s a year early, Kaye brings six years of administrative experience and a fierce standard of integrity, organization, and efficiency to everything she does.
Clinical Director, Treatment (Clinical)
A licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over two decades of experience, Thane holds degrees from BYU and Utah State and is a Clinical Fellow of the AAMFT. He specializes in failure to launch, family dynamics, and young adult mental health.
Therapist, Treatment (Clinical)
A Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with more than a decade of experience across residential, outpatient, and crisis settings, Jeff specializes in CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, and addiction counseling.
Program Therapist, Treatment (Clinical)
A Clinical Mental Health Counselor specializing in young adults and adolescents, Elliot joined Forte Strong in 2016. His background blends wilderness therapy and experiential education with a master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
Treatment Coordinator, Support Team
Born and raised in Switzerland, Jessica has worked in mental health for over eight years, including at a residential treatment center for adolescents. She’s passionate about helping people recognize their worth and build the skills to succeed.
Medical Director, Treatment (Clinical)
A Nurse Practitioner since 2013 with a Master’s in Family Practice and a post-master’s certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health, Alberto specializes in mental health and brings over 14 years in healthcare. Fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish.
Attending Nurse Practitioner, Treatment (Clinical)
A Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a career in medicine dating to 2009, Tyler holds degrees in Psychology and Nursing plus a master’s from Walden University. He specializes in psychotropic medication management and holistic mental health.
Admissions Coordinator
David has called Southern Utah home for more than 20 years, building a career on personalized service across a range of industries. He brings that same attention to understanding each family’s unique situation to his role as Admissions Coordinator, where he’s often the first person parents speak with at Forte Strong. Outside of work, David enjoys reading, golf, professional tennis, long walks, and a great movie

A Marine Corps veteran with over 24 years working with young people, Brook has been involved with therapeutic, residential, wilderness, and transitional programs nationwide. He works directly with parents through Forte Strong’s coaching program.

Charismatic and endlessly adaptable, Jake has worked in nearly every industry imaginable — with one constant: a love for helping people find enjoyment in everyday life. That instinct makes him a natural fit at Forte Strong.

With over 30 years in martial arts and decades of ministry and mentorship, John found his way to Forte Strong through wilderness therapy. His mission has always been the same: helping others become their best selves.

Raised in California by immigrant parents, Leonardo served in the Army before transitioning into wilderness therapy. That work taught him the power of human connection, empathy, and resilience — the foundation he brings to his coaching.

Raised on a small Iowa farm and self-employed in construction since his early twenties, Jony has spent years mentoring young people in their first jobs — passing on skills, work ethic, and the values that helped him build his own life.
Founder
Matthew founded Forte Strong out of a conviction that stalled young men deserve better. He holds a Master’s in Business along with degrees in marketing, leadership and organizational management, and credits his own success to the positive male role models who helped him grow into manhood.
