My Bio:

I have loved working with people and helping them find more peace and joy in their lives. I am grateful to have chosen Social Work as a degree, as it has given me the opportunity to work in a variety of areas. I have worked in Adolescent and Adult Residential Treatment, Intensive Outpatient Treatment, Adoption, I’ve been an On-Call Crisis Worker at the Hospital, a Hospice Social Worker and I still facilitate a Grief and Loss Support Group. All this experience has given me the chance to learn about life and the struggles we all deal with. I have come to believe that we all experience difficulties that can be benefitted by treatment.I am trained in EMDR therapy and find that it is a great resource in helping people with challenges they have experienced.

I am also a Certified Grief Counseling Specialist. I feel that these two approaches help individuals work through challenges and find healing from thinking errors, depression, anxiety, addictions and bring greater peace in their lives.I am a positive optimist that is very non-judgmental and would love the opportunity to talk and see if I am a good fit for your needs. If so, I would love to work with you, but if not, I hope you find what you need somewhere. Thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope to hear from you.
