"For the last six months, our son has been living in his own apartment and supporting himself. I guess you would say he has officially 'launched'!"

Our son is a very bright young man, but never reached his potential. By the time he was 24, he was living at home with little direction, delivering pizzas, and spending almost all his free time on the computer. Probably the best moment for me was a conversation with him about four months into the program — I remember thinking, "I have my son back." He was focused and thoughtful. He's now living on his own, supporting himself, and planning to go back to school.

He has learned to live on a budget, and when offered assistance, he refuses it. He is confident and excited about exploring a new city. Tallis now knows the things that will work for him as an adult — and will choose them because it's what he wants for himself.

When our son arrived, our family was exhausted, overwhelmed, and honestly out of answers. What we didn't fully understand at the time was that Forte Strong would not only help our son — it would help our entire family. One of the greatest gifts Forte gave us was helping us understand that growth requires discomfort, struggle, accountability, and independence — not constant rescuing.

My son is 23 and graduated about six months ago. He's made so many positive changes I hardly recognize him. He suffered from Social Anxiety Disorder and ADHD, was always afraid to try new things, and getting a job was almost impossible for him. The coaches immediately started him working on his confidence. In a short time he was going on interviews and promoting himself. He's now working in sales and traveling to other states for his job. This program didn't just help my son — it helped me too.

Our son attended Forte Strong for 9 months. Many of the positive changes stayed with him since graduating a year ago. He communicates more effectively, handles stress and conflict appropriately, and takes life's curve balls in stride. The tools that I learned through my son's time at Forte have helped me in all aspects of my life and strengthened my relationships.

Forte Strong was instrumental in helping our 20-year-old son get his life back together after he got hooked on video games and seriously sidetracked by life. Our son is now heading back to college, he is engaging to be around, and interacts with the family. Most importantly, our son is now looking forward to his future.

Prior to Forte, our son was not gaining these skills on his own at home or at college.
