Founder's Note
Forte Strong started because I watched too many good young men fall through the cracks — sent to programs built for addicts or other severe issues when what they actually needed was someone to believe they could build a life, and then show them how.
Sixteen years later, that's still the whole point. We don't exist to manage your son, or to send him back home. We exist to launch him — into his own life.

Belief
Forte Strong was built on the idea that more needed to be done to help young men experiencing failure to launch achieve independence and success. We believe this generation of young men has far more to offer than society tends to acknowledge. Parents often know this better than anyone — but are left unsure what to do, or where to begin.
That's where Forte Strong comes in. We believe that with the right environment — one built for learning and growth — and the right coaching, young men who are failing to thrive can become strong, confident, independent, and successful.

We believe more can be done to help young men not only overcome their fears and unlock their potential, but to do it within a meaningful timeframe. That belief is what Forte Strong evolved to deliver: the highest-quality failure-to-launch program in the nation.
Staying the highest-quality program means never standing still. Better research. Better therapeutic approaches. Better coaching. We built Forte Strong to keep growing, the same way we ask our young men to.
History
Working as educators, coaches, and mentors, the founders of Forte Strong watched hundreds of young men leave home in search of help — only to end up in programs designed for addiction, criminal behavior, or serious mental illness, developing unhealthy patterns in environments that were never built for them. Bright, capable young men were getting lost in the background with nowhere to turn: unsure, scared, and adrift.
Something needed to change. So we built it.
We set out to create a program focused specifically on these young men, at this critical moment in their lives — not just to coach them, but to unlock their potential and help them reach independence faster than anyone thought possible.
Approach
We built a program that challenged the assumptions of the traditional model — addressing the core issue of failure to launch and resolving the things that had kept these young men from succeeding at home or in other programs.
We did it with a quality-first mindset. We hand-select every young man who enrolls, to protect a strong, supportive, and emotionally safe environment. And we built an individualized approach that meets each young man where he actually is — because a program that engages him personally is one he'll actually grow from.
The result is a uniquely focused program that helps these young men get back in the driver's seat of their own lives — ready to take on bigger things, sooner: careers, college, and the independent adult life that once felt out of reach.
Legacy
Since our founding in 2011, Forte Strong has become one of the most recognized names in failure to launch — and we continue to develop new approaches to help young men reach full independence.
We were the first program to prove that real, lasting independence could be built in months rather than years — while still respecting that it can't be rushed. Our program is designed around a minimum stay of six months, because genuine independence takes time to build and time to prove. Most young men stay somewhat longer, launching not on a fixed schedule, but when they're truly ready.
We remain pioneers in independent-living programming for young men 18–30, and we intend to stay that way.
